Colon cancer is highly preventable with regular screening.

Who Should Be Screened?

  • Adults aged 50–74 at average risk.
  • Earlier screening may be recommended if: Family history of colorectal cancer, or Inflammatory bowel disease.

How Is Screening Done?

FIT (Fecal Immunochemical Test)

  • Completed at home
  • Repeated every 2 years if normal
  • If FIT is positive, colonoscopy is arranged for further evaluation.
